Exhibition Booth forBASF – in-cosmetics Global 2026, Paris – MP Music In April 2026, I supported BASF together with MP Music at their exhibition booth at in-cosmetics Global in Paris. The focus was the presentation of an additive for the regeneration of sun-damaged skin cells.
The central design element was a metal structure equipped with 129 Astera Helios Tube units, visually representing a DNA strand. In addition to a subtle continuous sine-wave effect, a timecode-based sequence programmed by MP Music was triggered hourly.
I was responsible for the technical setup and teardown, the installation and operation of the lighting system, and on-site client support. Additional fixtures were used for general and accent lighting.
Intimate Concert with Álvaro Soler – On Board the MS Europa 2
During my time working with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises on board the MS EUROPA 2, I had the privilege of collaborating with Álvaro Soler and his management team. For his intimate concert, I was responsible for communication, stage and lighting design, as well as the overall technical execution of the event.
The design focused on creating an intimate atmosphere for approximately 250 guests to fully enjoy the performance. The setup included 48 Astera AX1 Titan Tube units, controlled wirelessly via a grandMA lighting system.
Gala Dinner – Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Club – On Board the MS Europa 2
During my collaboration with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, I was also responsible for supporting the Gala Dinner of the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Club, taking charge of lighting design and operatin as well as setup and teardown.
The task was to create a pleasant and elegant atmosphere while ensuring sufficient and functional illumination throughout the event.
A key challenge was to avoid glare and prevent any distortion of the food’s natural colors. To achieve this, I chose Astera AX1 Titan Tube fixtures, whose diffused front lens provided an even, glare-free illumination perfectly suited for this setting.
